Tim Frazier proving himself on Pelicans' stripped-down roster
after 3 - he has 10 assists
Frazier is +27. No starter is above +7.
Frazier is putting on a clinic. He's also got one missed shot in the box score that was clearly a pass.
19 points, 13 assists (should have been 14 but one missed shot that was clearly a pass), 3 steals, 2 rebounds, 0 turnovers.
Monster game today. 19 and 13 +30
If he keeps this up he is going to get a chance to start next year.
It's actually his 2nd career double-double. Not sure why everyone (Pelicans, BTN, etc) keeps saying it's his first.
Here's the assist that was credited with a missed shot.
There's a good chance that gets adjusted after the fact.
They showed a replay from the camera mounted on the backboard, and it was even more obvious from that view it was a pass.
Frazier's post-game presser
Has Tim always had ice on the ears or is that a new development?
I'm so happy for him and I just picked him up on my fantasy team. However, I didn't do my team early enough and left him on the bench >
I noticed that, too.
Looks like the Pelicans weren't allowed to sign him to any future year contract since he's technically on the roster due to an injury exception. Those signed players have to be in the final year of their contract.
