Tickets on Sale for Hall of Fame Tipoff

From my email:

Penn State fans have the exclusive opportunity to purchase seats within the Penn State section. Each school has been assigned two seating sections in the lower bowl of the arena. Penn State has been assigned Sections 17 and 18. Tickets for the pre-sale are $50 per session and will be assigned in the PSU area of the arena. The Penn State password is NITTANY.

I ordered Saturday tickets, but ticketmaster has been throwing errors when I try to buy Sunday tix.

I’m planning on hitting the casino, winning big money, and getting the tickets comped. ;D

You could probably get your tickets comped if you lose big money, too

This would actually be a really fun trip. Need to see if I can make this happen.

yuck, 17 and 18 are corner seats.

I’ve never been to the Mohegan before. Any tips on nearby hotels that aren’t $300/night?

Look in Groton which is about 10 miles away. There’s also a Marriott Courtyard in Norwich which is a little closer.

I work in Stamford…this is perfect

I used to live in Stamford and would run up to the casinos often. I wonder if my Mohegan Sun VIP card is still valid. ;D

Just bought four Saturday tickets for me, JYD2, JYD3, and JYD4. Can’t wait!

Actually, you are better off to not have a valid Mohegan Sun card. The Mohegan sun has an offer for any Atlantic City casino card holder- “Please visit any Player’s Club booth and present your Atlantic City Casino Club card along with your photo identification to sign up for a new Player’s Club card”. That will earn you $100 free slot play. Don’t know how long that will be on the table, but it has been there for months so far.

Definitely keeping my fingers crossed, considering my plethora of AC cards. Has anyone played in the Mohegan Sun poker room? Any thoughts?
