Landesberg’s going pro. Borderline first rounder.

I thought Tony Bennett was a good hire. We’ll see how he works out.

Landesberg was initially suspended by Bennett for acandemic reason, supposedly for not going to class, so it possible that his departure was “in the works” for some time.

I applaud Bennett for holding the line and suspending the kid for the remainder of the season, instead of letting him run out the course to the end of the year.

That being said, even Bennett might have seen the writing on the wall, or had some solid insight that Landesberg would be gone after the season. Easier to suspend him and move forward.

BTW, I do believe Bennett has a very solid recruiting class coming in next season. At least that it what I have read from several sources.

Bennett had a lot of suspensions and dismissals this year. Good to see him get things in order so he can move forward.

Another kid was announced today as transferring. Bennett called it a mutual agreement.

He could be further “cleaning things up”, or perhaps these players see the talent level that is coming in next season and can already read the “writing on the wall”?

Boy that Bennett guy must be a horrible coach if his best player and others are jumping ship. ???

Maybe the players just don’t like the coach “singing” in the huddles! ???

You do realize this was his first year. Even I wasn’t calling for Ed’s dismissal after his first season.

Tony Bennett was a nice player for Wisc-Green Bay. His NCAA team was fun to watch. Played a few years in the NBA.

Yeah, it was a joke.
