Fera also got a drinking ticket.

Zordich’s is a lot more serious, since he has priors (DUI(s)). Fera simple got caught drinking… oh no! Its Penn State University. Mess up again and it could be a problem though.

You have to be a complete moron or an alcoholic to get an underage here, though. They deserve punishment. I’ve been drinking 3 years underage here and haven’t even come close to an underage.

Hope you are 21 now because you just jinxed yourself. :o

I had a buddy that got busted the first day he was there. Of course he was watering a shrub on fraternity row during summer session when he got pinched.

Pretty cool PSU will be among the programs such as LSU, Oklahoma, Alabama, Florida and Georgia that have had their spring scrimmages on ESPN. I’ll tune in if I don’t forget.

Ricky Sayles’s story is just as inspiring, albeit in a much different vein. He was the guy that was caught stealing a stereo with Bobby Engram. They both got kicked off the football team because of it. Engram, as a freshman, was given a second chance and came back to play after sitting out the year. Sayles, as an upperclassmen, was given no such second chance. He did use it as a wake-up call though, getting his life together, coming back to school on his own and getting his degree, then dedicating much of his life to helping underprivileged kids. All too many Penn Staters only know Ricky as the guy who got Engram in trouble and don’t recognize him for all the good that he’s done since.

Sayles was a McKeesport kid.
I am glad he “recovered” from the incident to lead a productive life!

Here’s a story that BWI did on him a few years ago (hopefully it’s not $$$$)

I once got pinched while watering a shrub on Fraternity Row. But that was by a co-ed

I yearn for the olden days…I can remember “working” the PhiPsi 500 as “security” as a freshman. Our orange vests got us into every bar and we walked around town toasted with a beer in our hand.

This was always the time of the year for the Phi Psi too. Heck in those days it was bigger than the Blue White game. I stumbled across this on MapMyWalk a couple of weeks ago and it brought back some great memories.

Game is in an hour and a half!

That’s awesome Lar. A great event that unfortunately will never be again.

Too soon to declare a QB controversy? You know that if Jones doesn’t see the field in the fall, 98% of the fan base will think Joe is an idiot.

#17

Paul Jones has to be the player of the game. IMPRESSIVE. McGloin was the polar opposite, major disappointment. Has to be a Jones/Newsome race now.

OT: Shuler gets drafted by the Vikings in the 7th round, Congrats Mick!

Anyone seen a starting quarterback? By DAVID JONES, The Patriot-News

Remember when Joe was criticized for giving Mickey Shuler Jr. a scholarship? Well, the kid got drafted by the NFL today. Maybe Joe knows something about football after all. Or maybe he just got lucky with this one.

So did a former walk-on. Congrats to Josh Hull.
