OT: Philadelphia vs. New York

With today’s stunning football game in mind, thought this would get a laugh. Unbelievably, this was written prior to the game. Just more fuel for the fire. This will be in tomorrow’s WSJ. I just wish they’d show today’s scores, which would allow me to bet on tonight’s games.

On this, the record is clear. Philadelphia, not New York, was the nation's first capital.

York, PA was actually the first capital of the United States.

There wasn’t an official capital city till after the Articles of Confederation were ratified.

Maybe, maybe not…it all depends on how you define what the “capital of the United States” is.
