Tough overtime loss to the Terps tonight 11-10. PSU now 0-32 vs. MD.
Potential game-winning shot in OT hit the pipe. Came within an inch or less of winning. Would have been big to finally knock off the Terps.
What's your thoughts on the team? Got a shot to make the tourney? Seems like they are close to being a really good team.
Don't know now after tonight's tough loss. It's like deja vu all over again.
Men lose in OT to Johns Hopkins 12-11 exactly one week after losing to MD in OT. PSU has never beaten either school in men's lax. Even just one win would have been huge.
Their win over #1 at the time Denver goes a long way toward securing an at-large bid but they really need another one to ensure it. OT losses to Maryland and Johns Hopkins don't help. They now have pretty much a must win game at Rutgers next Friday. They will likely make the Big Ten tournament which should give them another shot at either Maryland or Johns Hopkins in what might be 'a win and you are in', 'lose and you are done' game.
Another one goal loss... This time @ RU. Ugh.
They will get #1 seed and #3 ranked Maryland in the B10 semifinals in what is most likely a must win game to get an NCAA bid. Unfortunately, the game will also be at Maryland.

Team is off to a 6-0 start this year and a #3 ranking (might be ranked a little high IMO... we're not THAT good I don't think). Can tie the best ever start with a Win on Sat at Harvard.Tramboni was on the coaches show last week at the end. Quite an interesting 15 minutes. Hope they can keep this up.
I watched their game live on the BTN the other day. According to the announcers they are a high scoring team but the don't play great defense.
Game today is being aired live on espnu at 4 pm.
It was a great game, PSU wins 9-8. PSU is now 8-0 for the first time in program history.
They played horribly and were lucky to win. They should be applauded for getting a win when they didn't have their A game, but they'll need to play a lot better down the road.
