Good idea, thanks for tracking this info!

#3

Bump for day first big day of games this season.

#4

Combined 2-5 so far for the OOC :frowning:

#5

I’d call it 2-4 and not count games against PSU (especially since they will all be losses for them).

#6

Iowa fails to make it a perfect start for the Big Ten…

#7

For our non-con…

Guaranteed overall: W-L 6-6
potential overall record:
if vs. Tulane- 6-7
if vs. Miami 7-6

#8

Rough night for our schedule yesterday.

Our non-con opponents went 1-3. Overall 7-9 guaranteed record of our opponents.
Miami won, South Carolina Won…potential 3-3 yesterday. Potential 9-9 overall.

Virginia: loss on the road to USF
American: loss at hoe to Albany by 1 point
Gardner-Webb: Win over DII school.
Penn: Wrecked by Nova

B10: IU wins over USC Upstate.

We haven’t played a team who has a ‘W’ yet. We MUST beat UNC-W…probably need to beat Miami too. A win against a quality opponent on a neutral floor would bode well for our tournament chances.

Almost time for me to start an RPI and Pomeroy watch. We’re currently #53 in the RPI and #72 in Pomeroy’s rankings.

I just read that Bernardini was injured for Penn last night and finished scoreless for the night. He is scheduled to have an MRI on his foot. If he misses significant time it could impact Penn dramatically.

If PSU were to notch wins against Miami, South Carolina (projected), VT, Virginia and Temple or at least 4 out of those 5 with no other major slip ups against weak opponents then thats a solid OOC performance. Definitely an upgrade compared to last year.

Just an FYI that the win over a D2 school will have no impact on our RPI.

For a lot of the smaller schools that we play, losses right now aren’t terrible since they aren’t supposed to win many of these games. It’s during the conference portion of their schedules that we’ll need them to pull their weight.

#13

Temple is playing Gtown right now on ESPN. Go Temple?!

#14

Just was looking at scores from today and noticed that UMBC is already 0-3 and American is 0-4. Weren’t these two teams supposed to be some of the better OOC opponents on the Penn State schedule?

#15

Bump. Yikes, UMBC and American are 0’fer.
