Tune in - tied with 7.7 seconds left, OSU ball.
Got it to Sullinger on the low block, and game over.
Wow, what a finish. Wish NW would have pulled that out. Gus Johnson got a little excited.
I love Gus, but every time I listen to him, I think he’s doing another Buffalo Wild Wings commercial.
Though he did have this gem in the Indiana/Iowa game when Basabe had a nice put back slam…
He seemed despondent after it ended … hoping for the upset.
If Northwestern wins at Iowa, and wins in their first round game at the BTT, they are in IMO. The close game vs Ohio State will seal it for them.
NW better guard against the bank shot vs. Iowa then.
In a heartbreaking result for Northwestern, Sullinger’s turnaround with 3 seconds to go gave Ohio State a 75-73 victory. The sophomore finished with 22 points and a season-high 18 rebounds. Sullinger is the first Big Ten player with those totals in a conference game since Penn State’s Jarrett Stephens in 2000.
