Non-conference losses

#1

Just to take a look back at our non-conference losses, those two in Charleston turned out to be even worse than I thought at the time. That said, Temple and VT were close to being nice wins for us. I guess it doesn’t really matter given our performance in the Big Ten, but maybe if we had won some of these we could have built a little momentum and confidence. Oh well.

vs. North Carolina-Wilmington* L 80-69
vs. Tulane* L 63-60
at Temple L 45-42
Virginia Tech L 66-64

276 Tulane 7-19 0.4293 172 0.4941 Cusa 2-11

Losing to Wilmington and Tulane should never happen. I was at the Temple game and we played awful score was defiantly closer then the game should have been Temple just missed wide open shots and we couldn’t breath on offense. Virginia Tech is good team but they are not as good as there record is they played a very soft out of conference record and there best win is probably against Wake last week.

agreed that we shoudln’t lose those games; however, we aren’t very good this year, so they don’t bother me.

now, the real question is - who do we schedule for OOC next year. If I’m ED, I go very, very weak and hope for 11-1, or 10-2 in conference…

because we know in two years its going to be a long, long year…
