Does anyone know when Minny’s charter was going to fly in? Just got teh following email at work.

FYI Folks:

PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATIONS BELOW FOR UNIVERSITY PARK AIRPORT:

US Airways is cancelling their last departure at 1905/730pm today. Their last scheduled inbound flight will be at 1530/330pm. At this time all of their flights on Saturday have been cancelled. They hope to resume their full operation Sunday morning.

United’s last flight today will be at 1330/130pm and they will cease operations until 1300/100pm tomorrow (Saturday).

Delta has not announced any cancellations at this time.

wouldn’t mind having them redirected to Pittsburgh and having to bus in.

Given how far in advance this storm was forecasted, it’s a pretty safe bet that they are already here.

If they were enroute, I’d give it to you, but since they’ve probably already arrived, it’s not available.

Would have been nice to have Cresson Mountain be a part of their journey. Perhaps work a bit of mojo in our favor.

I see that Jim Jackson will be doing the color for the Big Ten Network tomorrow.

That reminded me of this thread back when it was announced that Crispin would be doing some of our games.

I specifically called Crispin out for using his tenuous PSU connection just to get the job. I suggested that if he truly wanted to reconnect with PSU, then I was expecting him to show up for events like Coaches vs Cancer, etc.

This is his first chance to prove me wrong since it’s the Hoops Alumni Weekend. If JC5 shows up this weekend, it will be on his own nickle, not the BTN’s, and I’ll apologize to him here.

Having said that, I do have to admit he’s doing a pretty good job. I have no complaints about his performance, just the seemingly convenient reconnection with PSU.

Actually, now that I think about it, DeChellis might have a rule that you don’t get invited back unless you’ve gotten your degree, in which case Jon wouldn’t get an invite. So we might have to wait until this summer to see how serious he is.

Don’t know but he’s playing ball in Italy so he wouldn’t be here anyway.

I guess I was wrong on my safe bet. Perhaps in light of the former academic improprieties with the hoops team, they decided to wait until the kids actually finished class on Friday.

Good thing they didn’t have to route through the Baltimore/DC region.

On our way to 24"+, everything is at a standstill.

Under-everyone will be home eating their jars of Peanut Butter they stocked up on yesterday at Wegmans. However, watch for the crowds at some other bad weather venues today-when you have an exciting program, weather doesn’t stop fans. I’ll be at the game as a true fan ready for a change. Oh Yes We Can!!!

Nova / GTown should get a nice crowd.

Over - but you’ll never know because announced attendance will be over 8000.
