She’s on pace to not only break Mazzante’s single season PSU record of 102 but also the Big Ten record of 106. Her 66 in 19 games puts her on a 108 pace for the season and that’s without any extra post season play which PSU looks assured to get.

Lucas really is something to watch out there. I’m gonna try to make it to as many Lady Lions games as possible from here on out. There’s nothing I love to watch more than a pure shooter, and shes unreal. Everytime she fires up a 3 you just get the feeling its going in. Oh and I guess the fact they are tied for first in the Big Ten isn’t too bad of a reason to go watch too ;D

I’d better start thinking about getting my first/second round NCAA tix @ the BJC soon.

Thought I’d update her projections. She now has 80 threes in 23 games which projects to 104 for a 30 game season.

After 25 games, she’s maintaining the same pace.

87 threes for a projected 104 for the season (but extra post season play is starting to look guaranteed). The PSU and Big Ten records are definitely in jeopardy (FTR - the NCAA record of 126 looks safe).

She’s currently 2nd in the country in threes behind CeMonay Newell of Texas Pan-Am who has 93.

Maggie currently has 96 threes in 27 games. She has four games left not counting the NCAAs.

Kelly Mazzante’s PSU record is 102.
The Big Ten record is 106.
The NCAA record is 126.

Maggie projects to 110 with only one post season game (i.e. the Big Ten tournament game)
110 would put her 12th on the NCAA season record list.
With a couple of extra games in the B10 tournament and a couple of NCAA games she could threaten the NCAA mark.

She is currently second in the country in made threes trailing a girl from Texas-Pan American by 1 in the same number of games. No one else is close. Texas Pan-Am stinks though (10-17), so they aren’t going to get any post season play other than maybe a one and done in the Great West conference tournament so Maggie should eventually pass her.

Points wise Maggie projects to 518 points with the one B10 tournament game. Kelly’s freshman record is 529 points (Kelly only played in 29 games) so Maggie would project to break that record in the second round of the Big Ten tournament or the opening game of the NCAAs.
