Here's one thing that I find confusing. From the second article
Like Courtney's testimony, Raykovitz said he heard about an incident involving Sandusky and a young man in a shower that left a graduate assistant witness feeling "uncomfortable."
An investigation revealed, Raykovitz said he was told, that nothing inappropriate occurred, but Penn State was still telling Sandusky they didn't want him to bring Second Mile kids on campus any more.
Curley wanted Raykovitz to know.
This is the first time that Raykovitz has actually testified but in an earlier second hand report by Delaware Times Reporter Gil Spencer, he supposedly says to Curley
"Are you trying to tell me that you think Jerry Sandusky is a pedophile?" Raykovitz asked Curley. Because, if that's what he was trying to tell him, Raykovitz suggested, Tim Curley had lost his mind.
Something seems inconsistent there (now it certainly could be the Spencer's source was making things up).
The other thing that I found interesting was this from the prosecution's opening remarks.
"Gary Schultz is going to tell you, 'We messed up,' " Schulte said.
As I mentioned before, it's my belief that that's about the extent of what Curley and Schultz's testimony is going to be. They aren't going to testify that Spanier told them to bury it, they are basically going to say that (with the benefit of hindsight ) they messed up and should have reported it.
