Jacob Pullen: " If we lose and we have to go to the NIT, I will not play."

A real class act.

He may just be an accidental genius.

I heard a radio commentator talk the other day about the NBA. He said that the NBA needs a villian. Not a criminal or lowlife, just someone who may be arrogent that you can root against.

Pullen made every college basketball fan turn his attention to K-State for the rest of the season.

What he said really isn’t that bad. Maybe he’s just trying to be motivational.

People either like Kobe ore dislike Kobe. You wither root for the Lakers or against the Lakers. I don’t think many basketball fans sit on the fence with them. Same now with Pullen and K-State.

Sort of similar in motivational terms to Oklahoma’s Courtney Paris who said she would pay back her scholarship to the university if her team didn’t win the NCAA title.

Kansas State has stunk recently. He’ll be lucky if they make the NIT at this rate.

I thought they were very overrated coming into this year, but mostly because I didn’t completely buy them last year. A solid team, no doubt. Definitely top 25 last year, but it just seemed like they got hot in the tournament and were making some crazy plays that I hadn’t seen them make most of the regular season.

Coming back down to earth can be rough on an ego. Colorado is their first really kinda bad loss of the year, so they aren’t in the trouble he makes it sound like they are. But they do have some issues - free throws for instance, 7th to last place in the entire country at 58%
