There has been a constant struggle oveer PSU OOC scheduling during Ed’s tenure as head coach. I took a peek at Pomeroy’s Rankings and tried to see how his early season’s schedule rank. I took each Big Ten team’s OOC opponents per Pomeroy and averaged them:

1 ) 129.67 Michigan State
2 ) 136.91 Penn State
3 ) 144.50 Minnesota
4 ) 159.00 Illinois
5 ) 169.47 Ohio State
6 ) 170.37 Michigan
7 ) 180.37 Purdue
8 ) 197.90 Iowa
9 ) 202.10 Wisconsin
10 ) 205.50 Indiana
11 ) 231.40 Northwestern

It would appear that this early point in the season sheds a favorable light on the potential for PSU’s schedule!

I thought this might be about Buffalo Springfield.

It’s good to see the schedule stacks up well against the other schools. Now, onto crushing the opponents…
