So if Ohio State beats Indiana and Nebraska loses to Michigan, then a win at Iowa gets us Rutgers in the 1st game…that would be nice.

#3

Anybody planning to go?

#4

20% chance … I leave important decisions like these until the last possible minute.

#5

#6

Have you sorted out how tickets work? I am on Vivid and there are some tickets in sections, but it also says it is all general admission.

#7

No … my working assumption is that I can figure out a way to get in. Might be crazy.

Ticket information that I have looked at has been pretty opaque. Same for NCAA opening rounds - thought I might take a trip to see some of those somewhere.

#8

Looks like we get either osu or Nebraska in the 12/13 game. I’ll take revenge against either of them.

#9

I’d rather have Nebraska at this point. IU just put up 96 points on the road.

#10

With Md’s win…

PSU has wins over 3 of the double bye teams, yet losses to all of the Wednesday teams.

#11

#12

#13

Not that it matters too much, but the draw isn’t unfavorable to PSU.

#14

The Wednesday-only session tix go on sale at noon. Plenty out there on the various ticket sites for $3-$6

#15

You’ll have no problem getting in.

#16

Nebraska is a team that we can beat when we’re not in the Vault. In addition, they’re traveling halfway across the country while it’s a quick trip for us.
We’ve beaten Michigan State before, however they will have fresh legs.
We’ve beaten Minnesota before, however they will have fresh legs.
We’ve beaten Illinois twice, were up 14 on Michigan, and went to OT to Purdue. IN THEORY - we could make a run…

However, we would need to win 4 games and make it to the championship game in order to get above .500 for the NIT. At that point, we might as well win the championship against Maryland and make the big dance.

#17

Yeah that was basically my line of logic as well. But too many conditions, as you get at.

Anyone planning on using the DC subway system (Metro) for the B1G tournament at the Verizon Center should be aware of ongoing track maintenance work that will significantly slow trips from the Northern Virginia suburbs and could also affect travel time from other parts of the DC area:

I don’t think I’m going to be able to make it down. I don’t think I’ll be able to escape work at the 3pm or so I’d need to to get there in time.

Hopefully Friday’s game I can make
